If you're looking for a simple and quick way to make a solid panorama from scattered satellite images – you should stop right now and download PhotoStitcher. With this app in your toolbox gluing multiple nonaligned satellite photos together is easy and 100% hands free. Here is a step-by-step describing how you can do this.
Drag-n-drop source photos to the main window of the program or use the open dialog (the [+] button on the toolbar) to add satellite images you want to stitch together.
Click the "Stitch" button on the toolbar. PhotoStitcher will asks you about the stitching mode, projection and resolution. In case of satellite photos we need "Scans" mode.
Finally, click the OK button and let the program stitch those multiple satellite photos automatically into one, high-quality panoramic image.
Note that the same steps excellently work with more than two images as well, and even with partially overlapping ones. Just add all the images to the program and enjoy quick and fully automatic image stitching!
